Inspired by an early installation of mine in Mannheim, Germany, ‘be good.’

In 1996, I believed that all humans are born good and that one’s environment and surroundings shape and change who we become. Twenty years later, I find my belief simplified, if perhaps slightly more cynical. In this series the work is introduced as a pure solid black and white text piece, gradually reaching a point of being almost illegible in its weathered and worn state; a reflection of the impact the world has on our purity.
