Smile is a show based on words that reflect a sense of humor. Each piece consists of at least 5 layers of resin, a symbolic metaphor for inferred meanings and the complexities of word usage. Throughout the show, words and sentences are used to generate positive reactions, recognitions, and shortcuts to actual thoughts. Whether it’s through the use of conjunctions, everyday statements, or works inspired by a collection of 1960’s Belgian magazine, each piece leaves the thought for the viewer to complete.
